INFINITY: Hulk vs Black Order Outcomes Pt.1

Lets be honest! This is the match up all Real Hulk Fans want to see. Hulk vs Black Dwarf. Right off the gate Black Dwarf has size and most likely a way higher baseline strength then Hulk. We will have to face it Hulk fans. Hulk will get owned first encounter. Hickman is making it known he is a powerhouse on a Cosmic scale! Marvel is trying to bring some new villains into 616 universe. With Marvel stating these guys are in Silver Surfer's league all in their own way.

Black Order Lieutenants will have a better pool of Intel on adversaries strength and weaknesses. Black Dwarf might just let it all out quick and hard. If Hulk is caught off guard he will get rocked. But with that said Hulk's healing factor is in thee Elite Class of Healing Factors. If Hulk's Healing Factor can keep up with the damage taken. He can very much amp up to give considerable damage back. Since Marvel's launch of Marvel Now the number of Incredible feats by Hulk are slim. Hulk dropping Starbrand and Mind Controlled Hulk subduing Thor..both written in Hickman's Avengers run. But with those few above level feats there is real potential in Hulk's corner. Hulk was physically unfazed by Starbrand's Orbital BFR Energy Projection Burst. And Starbrand was holding his own against the Avengers.

I believe Hickman has the ability to write a unforgettable showdown between both behemoths. Hickman has shown great respect to Hulk's power set thus far in his run. But this is all conjecture on my part. We have not seen Black Dwarf in battle. Corvus Glaive is thee only one thus far to rear his ugly head on panel. As die hard Hulk fan my gut is telling me Hulk won't get too much Black Dwarf alone time. Maybe a blow or two we could hope. I see Hickman writing  Hulk and Hyperion tag-team against the Dense Star himself Black Dwarf.

"He's larger than Thanos, actually. On the surface, the name Black Dwarf makes you think it's a little guy, but you're really talking about something with the mass of a dwarf star that's very dense and very solid," Brevoort said. "He's a powerhouse, certainly, and physically the most imposing simply standing there. He's the one guy, really, that dwarfs Thanos if you've got all six of them standing together. He's massive. By contrast, [he] is probably the most serene-seeming of the Thanos lieutenants. He does his business, he's just as bad as any of the others, but he's not as outwardly sinister or verbose or forthcoming. He's a little bit more even-keeled because there's just no need for him to be otherwise. He's just so massive."

Hulk Worthy Foes: The New Brotherhood PART 4 of 4

The Brotherhood:
Cyclops
Magneto
Emma Frost
Magik

New Brotherhood
Magik:  has the mutant ability to teleport herself and others through time and space from one location to another by summoning "stepping discs", which are part of a dimension known as Limbo in the Marvel Universe.  Magik is the sorceress supreme of her Limbo dimension. The extent of her powers in Limbo has yet to be defined, but powerful demons of Limbo did not dare challenge her.  The more that Magik uses her magical power on any occasion, the more mystical armor appears on her body in addition to demonic features such as horns, hooves, a tail and scales. The armor deflects or limits attacks, both physical and magical.  Magik's Soulsword disrupts magic energies, constructs and creatures. It also augments the power level of any magic user who holds it. The Soulsword generally has no physical effect whatsoever, but disrupts even the most powerful magic as it passes through. It can shatter enchantments and destroy mystical creations and creatures.

Emma Frost: She is capable of extraordinary psionic feats, including the telepathic standards of: broadcasting and receiving thoughts, mind-control, altering perceptions and memories, psychic shielding, astral projection, mind switching, brain engram modification, mental sedation, induction of mental pain via touch.  Emma's diamond body is virtually tireless as she does not produce fatigue poisons and has no need for water nor food. She is also numbed from emotion, pain and empathy, impervious to cold.  Frost has a gifted intellect with college degrees in multiple fields, including a Bachelors of Science in Education

Magneto:
Magneto is a mutant with the power to manipulate electromagnetic fields to achieve a wide range of effects.
The primary application of his power is control over magnetism and the manipulation of ferrous and nonferrous metal. While the maximum amount of mass he can manipulate at one time is unknown, he has moved large asteroids several times and effortlessly levitated a 30,000 ton nuclear submarine. His powers extend into the subatomic level (insofar as the electromagnetic force is responsible for chemical bonding), allowing him to manipulate chemical structures and rearrange matter, although this is often a strenuous task. He can manipulate a large number of individual objects simultaneously and has assembled complex machinery with his powers. He can also affect non-metallic and non-magnetic objects to a lesser extent and frequently levitates himself and others. He can also generate electromagnetic pulses of great strength and generate and manipulate electromagnetic energy down to photons. He can turn invisible by warping visible light around his body

Cyclops: Master Tactician and Strategist. Cyclops has spent most of his superhero career as the leader of either the X-Men or X-Factor and has developed exceptional leadership skills. According to Nick Fury's files, Scott's abilities are at their best in tense situations. Fury notes that the less time Cyclops has to think about a decision, the better that decision is.  Cyclops has the power to emit beams of energy from his eyes described as an "optic blast." The beams have the appearance of red light (i.e., electromagnetic radiation in a red wavelength); however, they do not give off heat and instead deliver concussive force without recoil. The beams are tremendously powerful and can be used to rupture steel plates and pulverize rock.

Hulk Worthy Foes: Apocalypse PART 3 of 4

In the harsh, unforgiving desert of ancient Egypt, ruled by Rama-Tut, a band of nomadic raiders found an infant, gray-skinned and freakish in appearance, abandoned by the settlers of Akkaba. The nomads took the child for their own, giving him the name En Sabah Nur, “The First One,” and teaching him to be "strong" in order to survive the desert as a child. This idea, that "the strong will survive," would shape Apocalypse's actions throughout time.

Apocalypse is an ancient mutant born with a variety of superhuman abilities who further augmented himself after merging with Celestial technology. The character has total control over the molecules of his body, enabling him to alter his form as it suits him, such as allowing his body to become extremely malleable and flexible or change its size, enhance his physical abilities, transform his limbs into weapons or wings and jets, regenerate from fatal injuries, adapt his body to apparently any disease or hostile environment and give himself virtually any physical superhuman power. The character is also able to project and absorb energy, and has displayed telepathy and telekinesis. Apocalypse is as well capable of technopathy, able to directly interface with the various technologies he has at his disposal. Apocalypse is also immortal, and immune to aging, not needing sustenance of any kind and can survive fatal injuries. Whether this is a separate ability or a result of his shapeshifting powers is unclear.
Aside from his superhuman powers, Apocalypse is extraordinarily intelligent, a scientific genius with knowledge in various areas of science and technology including physics, engineering, genetics and biology, that is far more advanced than conventional science. Apocalypse has knowledge of Celestial technology that he uses for his own applications, such as altering mutants or humans. Apocalypse is also a skilled demagogue and a master strategist.
Apocalypse's blood can heal other mutants, but is fatal for humans. Apocalypse's blood can also restore his de-powered mutant descendants as is seen when a large dose of Apocalypse's blood regenerates the lost body part of Chamber and gave him a look similar to Apocalypse. It is hinted that this evolved Chamber's power to Omega Level.

Is The High Evolutionary to big for Mark Waid to write?

Mark Waid has told us he is writing a "Smart Guy Comic". I want to believe him..but it would be nice to see Bruce interact with some big name geniuses.  To be fair Waid did give us Tony Stark in issue two. There are a lot of big brains meeting and interacting on 616 earth all the time. Mainly the Illumanti who are using there brains to avert world disasters. Why was Bruce excluded from the group? And Captain America given a chance over Bruce Banner? I wish I had the answers to share.

Give Bruce Banner his own lane then like Hank Pym.  How would Bruce react to another being smarter then them all?  In steps The High Evolutionary and his Seeker.  Lets face it Bruce has always thought of himself in Reed, Stark, McCoy and Pym's league! High Evolutionary is a step higher in the Intelligence Food Chain. Could Mark Waid find a plausible way to write Herbert Edgar Wyndham and Bruce Banner in a issue of Indestructible Hulk? Nobody is denying Waid is a smart writer and a talented one. High Evolutionary just feels like it would be right up Mr. Waid's alley. Hulk and High Evolutionary have a shared history. Take a dive at it..own the character Waid. You learned how to write and love Banner Waid. Now do the same for the Hulk. If you love writing Bruce Banner, you should love writing the Hulk. Because they are the same...Hulk is Bruce and Bruce is Hulk. Lets make this happen Gamma Warriors. Make Mine Gamma!

Hulk Worthy Foes: Blastaar PART 2 of 4

Blastaar is a member of a race called the Balurrians, based in the Negative Zone. He ruled them for years as a brutal leader until they finally rose up and overthrew him, then sealed him up within a containment suit and set him adrift. It was only when the inhuman Triton braved the Negative Zone to save an adrift Mister Fantastic that the Explosive Belt around Earth revived Blastaar

Blastaar has superhuman strength and endurance, and is incredibly durable and resistant to injury; conventional weapons and even ballistic missiles could have no effect on him. His superhuman constitution can withstand extreme variations in temperature and pressure. He is virtually tireless. He can live without nourishment for several weeks and survive in the vacuum of space by inducing himself into a state of hibernation.  He is capable of self-propelled flight at escape velocity. He can project blasts of highly concussive kinetic force from his hands. He can channel the same concussive force to give him flight by propelling himself through the air like a rocket, and can maintain this thrust almost indefinitely. His energy blasts can temporarily disrupt the molecular integrity of the Eternals.
He is also highly trained in the arts of warfare of and by his race and has access to advanced technology from his home world such as starships and powerful plasma-based weapons. Most often, however, he only uses his powers without augmentation.

Hulk Worthy Foes: OMEGEX PART 1of 4

The Omegex was born within the Red Hole of Dargalla after enough energy was absorbed to give the creature life. It was designed by the Kryihd to exterminate their hated enemies, the Dargallans, and then be destroyed after its mission was completed. The Dargallans altered the Red Hole, ensuring once the Omegex returned to it the process would begin again. Eventually a new Omegex was born, and the Kryihd felt its wrath. Having destroyed both races the Omegex would select random targets and annihilated several species until such a time the Watchers chose to break their vow of non-interference and move the Red Hole of Dargalla outside the galaxies where it would take much longer to gather the energy needed to create the Omegex, but it was a process that could only be slowed and not halted. Possibly sensing the Omegex was about to return, Uatu the Watcher abandoned his post on Earth and traveled to the Red Hole to witness its birth. Once the Omegex came forth it detected an energy signature on Uatu from when he came into physical contact with the Red Hulk. The Omegex found its next target and immediately left the Red Hole, headed for Earth. It was briefly delayed when the Norrak attacked, but it exterminated the remainder of their species before continuing on its way.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Trailer

You don't have to be a Hulk fan to be excited about Marvel's new ABC series hitting this fall. So stoked I am shoving another blueberry poptart down my throat. This looks like it could be what the TV show Heroes should of been. And everybody favorite agent is back Mr. Coulson. Wondering how this fits in the story line with Marvel Studio's cinematic releases from Iron Man to Thor. My guess this will be taking place before the Avengers movie on the time line. From the trailer I heard the infamous Hulk growl. This opens up so many doors and very smart move by Marvel. Stay tuned in to Gamma Cosmic Herald for more updates on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Maestro Is Back..Again

Avengers #10 vol.5

Maestro Sketch
I couldn't believe my eyes when reading Hickman's Avengers #10 vol.5. My exact words.."Holy shit is that the fucking Maestro?". GreenScar1990 was successful in getting Hulk's editorial staff to respond to his plea to bring Maestro back. But Waid and Company said it wasn't going to happen. But fucking Hickman had the balls to give us die hard Hulk fans a taste of the good ole days. Even if it was just a small panel. So many other writers have used future Hulk/Maestro. Why Hulk fans obsession over Maestro? Well to us he is our Future King Thor..but this future Hulk is more demented and a lot more powerful..oh yeah with Bruce Banner's intellect. He rules a future world where all the heroes and villains are dead or hiding. Peter David in his infinite gamma wisdom blessed us with the character. Maestro first appearance was in Future Imperfect #1.

Who is GreenScar1990? One of the most vocal Hulk fans there is to use social media to get answers from comic book writers regarding all things Hulk. Got to love the guy's passion to call out Hulk writers to there face. I mean the guy butted heads with Jason Aaron. I have to admit I chosen the wrong side in that argument. Siding with Aaron I believed he could still give us a good Hulk run at the time. I believe he was on the second arc Banner vs Hulk. The art went to trash and the Stay Angry arc came and that was the nail in the coffin of Jason Aaron being our next PAD or Pak. Jason is still a great writer..and I enjoy his Thor run. But on the flip-side I am a little jealous how much he is hitting Thor God of Thunder out the park. Where was his art and passion for Hulk? Well that is water under the bridge or as Banner likes to say "Hulk happens".
A+X #1
Mark Waid  said he didn't want to use the Maestro because Jason Aaron is writing a masterpiece dealing with different Thors in different time lines. Shaking my head. Waid in under a year is going to give us two time traveling arcs. One is out now Gods and Monsters and the other starts at Indestructible Hulk #12 A Time to Smash. Gods & Monsters could of been held in the time Maestro first came to be and before Thor and everyone perished from the Great War. How fucking cool would that of been Thor and Hulk vs Maestro. I just hate when a writer lies..just be honest and say I don't want to use him he doesn't fit into my plans. It seems Hickman and his Editorial staff are keeping there ears to the street...or is Hickman a undercover Maestro lover? In Avengers #10 that group of Avengers all under went changes. Specific variables tailored to them. Some like Hulk progressed to there future state in the form of Maestro. Which means the Maestro story line is still in continuity and viable. I hope Mark Waid jumps on this in his Year Two of Indestructible Hulk. Mark if you are reading this all we want for year two of Hulk is a Maestro sighting or possibly a Tutinax or Juggernaut show down. Make Mine Gamma!

Ultra Capes vs Elite Bricks

STRONGEST THERE IS

Juggernaut, Mangog and Tutinax one thing they all got in common. 1)Insane high durability 2) Physically powerful. And Hulk is in that same league. What tickles my fancy is all of those characters have beaten down Thor on panel. But gamma haters refuse to acknowledge Hulk can do the same thing to Thor and other capes. Even though the proof is on panel. From Gladiator, Thor to Sentry..Hulk has made a living out of beating down capes. Why is there extreme prejudice shown towards Hulk when he does the same thing? Shots are usually fired by stating Greg Pak is a Hulk Fan Boy. Truth be told Hulk was already smashing capes before Greg Pak came along. Hulk is a Elite Powerhouse Brick period. The madder he gets the stronger and more durable he gets. Juggernaut, Mangog and Tutinax start off higher in durability and strength. But Real Hulk fans know it can take mere seconds to minutes for Hulk to close the gap and go beyond. Arguments usually flare because comic books fans don't understand Hulk's power set and willpower. Hulk 9 out of 10 times is holding back in fear of  laying waste to a city, country or even a planet. That is Banner trying to keep the monster in check. Very few capes stand a chance of trading blows with Elite Bricks like Juggernaut and Mangog. Thor does better because of his enchanted hammer. But Hulk was made to fight up close and take extreme punishments. We don't care if Hulk loses to a Cape. But our eyebrows do arch if the Cape just stands there trading blows and not utilizing everything else like speed and flight. If a writer wants a Cape to BFR Hulk all day..fine..because thats what it takes. Or the use of advance magic and science is very much plausible on a Elite Brick.

But it is becoming a trend on a lot of forums and message boards. If you are a Cape you automatically win because of speed and flight. Not the case when fighting against Powerhouse Bricks like Tutinax and the likes. They can take extreme physical punishment via healing factors, magic enchantments or god like dense bone and muscle structure. That is there great equalizer. Not saying Capes aren't built as powerful..but there advantage is Flight and mid-long range EnergyProjections/Bursts. While Bricks rely on being stronger and more durable. Close quarters combat sides more in the Bricks favor.

On panel proof isn't enough for some comic fans. Like World War Hulk beating Sentry. They claim it was Bruce who beat Bob. Tutinax pounded out the Odinson. Thor-lites were in a uproar. Saying that Thor was disrespected. And I by one thought Thor: Deviants Saga was entertaining.  Juggernaut has made a career out of beating down squads of mutants to capes. One thing all the bricks have in common also. They all have out muscled Thor with pure savagery and brute force. Mind you Thor has beaten Sentry and had the upper hand on Silver Surfer in a few encounters. Odinson is not a pushover by any means. Just using him to set the pace and bar. Its not by chance Thor stated Hulk was a pain in his ass. Lets face it Brusiers like Juggernaut and Mangog have given Thor a run for his money. Loki disguised as the Scarlett Witch stated on panel Hulk had the power to lay down gods. Is being a Cape overrated? No! I just feel they need to utilize more of there powerset to beat  Elite Bruisers like Hulk and Tutinax. For the record I am not saying Elite Bricks beat Ultra Capes all the time. Its just in there powerset to be able to from time to time and vice versa.

Hulk goes COSMIC in Marvel's Infinity

I couldn't be happier knowing Hulk is going to be involved in this Mega Crossover Event. Being a Avenger has some perks for Hulk fans. With Thor, Hyperion and Hulk in your corner, you wonder what could give the Avengers a challenge. In walks Thanos and his five lieutenants. Tim Brevoort in a interview stated Thanos's lieutenants are in Silver Surfer's league on the power scale. That is scary and a humbling notion all at once. I hate to say it but Marvel is making it clear Thanos is above Thor, Hyperion and Hulk in the Marvel pecking order of all around power. It doesn't bother me one bit.. a lot of comic fans believe Thanos is right under Sky Father levels and above Herald level.

"Thanos is going to have five different subordinates within "Infinity" proper...We'll see them, learn them, get to see them in action and then they'll be on the stage where thereafter they can be characters that go up against our heroes -- particularly our heroes that are on the higher end of the scale, power-wise. These are galactic villains, so they're not necessarily guys that are going to be punching Daredevil in the streets of Manhattan. They're more going to be mixing it up with the likes of the Silver Surfer or Nova or somebody from the cosmos." Generals of Thanos
General of Thanos
Thanos's most trusted lieutenant Corvus Glaive has debut in FCBD in Infinity. He was bad ass and a guy to be taken serious. As a Hulk die hard fan I cross my fingers and pray Hulk tangles with one or all of Thanos's lieutenants. I just want to see Hulk hold his own in the cosmic universe on panel. I know he can and he has..but there are a lot of haters who think he can't. Hulk is a powerhouse brick..I expect him to rush head first trying to smash one or all of Thanos's lieutenants. This should be a fun ride for Hulk and comic fans alike. From what I gathered Avengers 18 man roster will have there hands full against these five Lieutenants of Thanos. Check back soon for more updates on Hulk in Infinity. Make Mine Gamma!

2013 Year of the Super Powers

Usually I see comic book movies on the midnight release. For some reason Iron Man 3 didn't give me that 90's tingly feeling to go out and lose sleep to watch right away. Part of that is due that Mark Ruffalo wasn't green lit for a Incredible Hulk 2. With Man of Steel and World War Z on the horizon..I let Iron Man 3 slip another week back. I have been hearing mix reviews..some say its better then Iron Man 2..some say its the worse out of the trilogy. Phase 2 of Marvel Cinematic movies are in high gear. With Thor 2 releasing end of this year and Captain America and GOTG coming in 2014..I am running on financial fumes with all these movies coming out. But out of all the comic book movies to be release on big screen..Amazing Spider-man2 has my curiousity  but Man of Steel has my attention.(Django reference).DC just lets there movie counterparts live up to there comic book hype. Marvel has seem to cap their powerhouses down a bit. We all know Thor and Hulk are extremely more powerful in the comics then shown on big screen. Ang Lee's Hulk showed to be the strongest of them yet..but thats not under the Marvel Studio banner. Hopefully Marvel Phase 2 isn't a bust.
